"spOILed,” is a documentary by filmmaker Mark Mathis that debunks anti‐oil propaganda, while succinctly explaining how oil positively affects Americans' daily lives. Often, oil and gas industry members are frustrated by perpetuation of an uninformed, or simply unfair, media slant regarding American energy. This film helps educate those in the public who take modern conveniences for granted, who misunderstand the very fuel that elevates their lives. And it explains, in a surprising twist, how people across the globe wish to be "energy rich" as Americans are -- or, "spOILed." It is timely, honest, fair—and entertaining as well.
